Western blot analysis of CREB1 (phospho S133) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0445) in CEM cell lysate (35ug/lane). Phospho-CREB1-S133 (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody (1 : 40 dilution).
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with CREB1 (phospho S133) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0445) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. HC = hepatocarcinoma.
This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq
