Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of C6 UV treated (A) whole cell lysates with CREB (Phospho S133) recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02486).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section using CREB (Phospho S133) recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02486). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.79). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.Immunoprecipitation

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq
