Applications
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescent staining of Jurkat cells with IL9R recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone AH9R2 (Cat # RAB03604).
Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Jurkat cells on Shi-fix™ coverslips and stained with the chimeric r version of RAB03604 at 10 ug/mL followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/mL), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). The isotype control was stained with anti-Fluoresceinan antibody followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.

Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells with IL9R recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone AH9R2 (Cat # RAB03604).
Jurkat cells were fixed using 2% PFA and permeabilized with 0.5% Triton and stained with anti-Fluorescein IgG antibody (isotype control-black line) or the r1 version of RAB03604 (blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-mouse IgG AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine receptor that specifically mediates the biological effects of interleukin 9 (IL9). The functional IL9 receptor complex requires this protein as well as the interleukin 2 receptor, gamma (IL2RG), a common gamma subunit shared by the receptors of many different cytokines. The ligand binding of this receptor leads to the activation of various JAK kinases and STAT proteins, which connect to different biologic responses. This gene is located at the pseudoautosomal regions of X and Y chromosomes. Genetic studies suggested an association of this gene with the development of asthma. Multiple pseudogenes on chromosome 9, 10, 16, and 18 have been described. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq
