This antibody reacts with Class III epitope on CD34 (Mucosialin), a 110-115 KDa monomeric transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein expressed on hematopoietic progenitors cells and on the most pluripotential stem cells; it is gradually lost on progenitor cells.
