Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western blot analysis of AMFR (arrow) using AMFR polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB1684). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the AMFR gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma reacted with AMFR polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB1684) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells using AMFR polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB1684)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).
FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
Autocrine motility factor is a tumor motility-stimulating protein secreted by tumor cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a glycosylated transmembrane protein and a receptor for autocrine motility factor. The receptor, which shows some sequence similarity to tumor protein p53, is localized to the leading and trailing edges of carcinoma cells. [provided by RefSeq
