Applications
Western Blot (Tissue lysate)
CDK2 MaxPab rabbit polyclonal antibody. Western Blot analysis of CDK2 expression in human kidney.Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western Blot analysis of CDK2 expression in transfected 293T cell line (H00001017-T03) by CDK2 MaxPab polyclonal antibody.
Lane 1: CDK2 transfected lysate(33.90 KDa).
Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.
In situ Proximity Ligation Assay (Cell)
Proximity Ligation Analysis of protein-protein interactions between CDK2 and TP53. HeLa cells were stained with anti-CDK2 rabbit purified polyclonal 1:1200 and anti-TP53 mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex, and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). In situ Proximity Ligation Assay (Cell)
Proximity Ligation Analysis of protein-protein interactions between CDK2 and PCNA. Mahlavu cells were stained with anti-CDK2 rabbit purified polyclonal 1:1200 and anti-PCNA mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex, and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. This protein kinase is highly similar to the gene products of S. cerevisiae cdc28, and S. pombe cdc2. It is a catalytic subunit of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase complex, whose activity is restricted to the G1-S phase, and essential for cell cycle G1/S phase transition. This protein associates with and regulated by the regulatory subunits of the complex including cyclin A or E, CDK inhibitor p21Cip1 (CDKN1A) and p27Kip1 (CDKN1B). Its activity is also regulated by its protein phosphorylation. Two alternatively spliced variants and multiple transcription initiation sites of this gene have been reported. [provided by RefSeq
