Applications
Western Blot
Western blot analysis of 293 whole cell lysate, HepG2 whole cell lysate, Jurkat whole cell lysate, U-937 whole cell lysate, THP-1 whole cell lysate, Raji whole cell lysate, Mouse Spleen whole cell lysate with BCL2 recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 3F6 (Cat # RAB07515).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human colon cancer using BCL2 recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 3F6 (Cat # RAB07515) on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes an integral outer mitochondrial membrane protein that blocks the apoptotic death of some cells such as lymphocytes. Constitutive expression of BCL2, such as in the case of translocation of BCL2 to Ig heavy chain locus, is thought to be the cause of follicular lymphoma. Two transcript variants, produced by alternate splicing, differ in their C-terminal ends. [provided by RefSeq
