Applications
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescenct staining of Hela cells with GSTP1 recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone SAIC-22D-22 (Cat # RAB03500).
Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Hela cells permeabilized with 0.15% Triton stained with the chimeric r version of RAB03500 at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:1500, showing nuclear and cytoplasmic staining. Actin filaments were stained with phalloidin (red) and the nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). The isotype control was stained with an unknown specificity antibody followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.

Flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells with GSTP1 recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone SAIC-22D-22 (Cat # RAB03500).
Paraformaldehyde fixed Hela cells permeabilized with 0.5% Triton were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (isotype control-black line) or the r version of RAB03500 (blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-r AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.Immuno-MRM (multiple reaction monitoring)

HyperlinkGene Summary
Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) are a family of enzymes that play an important role in detoxification by catalyzing the conjugation of many hydrophobic and electrophilic compounds with reduced glutathione. Based on their biochemical, immunologic, and structural properties, the soluble GSTs are categorized into 4 main classes: alpha, mu, pi, and theta. This GST family member is a polymorphic gene encoding active, functionally different GSTP1 variant proteins that are thought to function in xenobiotic metabolism and play a role in susceptibility to cancer, and other diseases.
