Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of Jurkat (A), C6 (B), CHOK1 (C), Hela (D) whole cell lysates with GSK3 beta recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02444).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of human cholangiocarcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section using GSK3 beta recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02444). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.42). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a serine-threonine kinase, belonging to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily. It is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. Polymorphisms in this gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of this gene may be relevant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene
