Applications
Western Blot
Western Blot analysis were resolved on a 10% SDS PAGE gel and blots probed at 1.5 ug/mL before being detected by a secondary antibody. The expected band size (31 kDa) is seen in the human-derived sample, as well as further bands that are specific to human.Immunohistochemistry
Immunohistochemistry analysis of formalin fixed rat spleen slices were were stained at 5 ug/mL.Flow Cytometry
Flow-cytometry were stained with an isotype control at a concentration of 1 ug/mL for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a AF488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody and cells analysed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The interleukin 2 (IL2) receptor alpha (IL2RA) and beta (IL2RB) chains, together with the common gamma chain (IL2RG), constitute the high-affinity IL2 receptor. Homodimeric alpha chains (IL2RA) result in low-affinity receptor, while homodimeric beta (IL2RB) chains produce a medium-affinity receptor. Normally an integral-membrane protein, soluble IL2RA has been isolated and determined to result from extracellular proteolyisis. Alternately-spliced IL2RA mRNAs have been isolated, but the significance of each is presently unknown. [provided by RefSeq
