Labeled FISH probes for identification of gene amplification using Fluoresecent In Situ Hybridization Technique. (Technology) The 50 uL format is now available until 2014/12/31, this format does not contain DAPI Counterstain. (Please contact us for more information.)
Quality Control Testing:
Representative images of normal human cell (lymphocyte) stain with the dual color FISH probe. The left image is chromosomes at metaphase, and the right image is an interphase nucleus.
DAPI Counterstain (1500 ng/mL ) 250 uL
Store at 4°C in the dark.
Hybridization position of the probes on the chromosome.
Probe 1: Size: Fluorophore: Location:
c-met Approximately 270kb Texas Red 7q31
Probe 2: Size: Fluorophore: Location:

The gap between two probes is approximately 51,200 kb.
We strongly recommend the customer to use FFPE FISH PreTreatment Kit 1 (Catalog #: KA2375 or KA2691) for the pretreatment of Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue sections.
The proto-oncogene MET product is the hepatocyte growth factor receptor and encodes tyrosine-kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor. Various mutations in the MET gene are associated with papillary renal carcinoma. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq
