Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of Hela (A), A549 (B) whole cell lysates with DGKA recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02585).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of human tonsil formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section using DGKA recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02585). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.127). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.Immunoprecipitation

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. It acts as a modulator that competes with protein kinase C for the second messenger diacylglycerol in intracellular signaling pathways. It also plays an important role in the resynthesis of phosphatidylinositols and phosphorylating diacylglycerol to phosphatidic acid. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and four transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified. [provided by RefSeq
