Applications
Western Blot
Western blot analysis of mouse heart (A), CHOK1 (B), C6 (C), Jurkat (D) whole cell lysates with Moesin recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02521).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section using Moesin recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02521). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.85). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.Immunoprecipitation

HyperlinkGene Summary
Moesin (for membrane-organizing extension spike protein) is a member of the ERM family which includes ezrin and radixin. ERM proteins appear to function as cross-linkers between plasma membranes and actin-based cytoskeletons. Moesin is localized to filopodia and other membranous protrusions that are important for cell-cell recognition and signaling and for cell movement. [provided by RefSeq
