Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of K562 (A), C6 (B), NIH3T3 (C), Hela (D) whole cell lysates with MLH1 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02421).Immunocytochemistry
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescent analysis of HeLa cells with MLH1 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02421). Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a AF594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.Immunoprecipitation

Gene Ontology
HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene was identified as a locus frequently mutated in hereditary nonpolyposis colon cancer (HNPCC). It is a human homolog of the E. coli DNA mismatch repair gene mutL, consistent with the characteristic alterations in microsatellite sequences (RER+ phenotype) found in HNPCC. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described, but their full-length natures have not been determined. [provided by RefSeq
