B Cell Receptor Signaling Pathway
B cell receptor (BCR) signaling plays a key role in the proliferation and survival of malignant B cells. Antigen binding by the BCR activates the signaling pathways which involve several B cell receptor associated kinases (BAKs), such as Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK), spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK), tyrosine protein kinase LYN and phosphoinositol-3-kinase (PI3K). The phosphorylation of the kinases further induces calcium mobilization, the activation of PKC and NF-kB, and stimulates the secretion of CC-chemokine ligand 3 (CCL3) and CCL4.
