This protein protein interaction antibody pair set comes with two antibodies to detect the protein-protein interaction, one against the IL10 protein, and the other against the A2M protein for use in in situ Proximity Ligation Assay. See Publication Reference below.

HeLa cells were stained with anti-IL10 rabbit purified polyclonal antibody 1:1200 and anti-A2M mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex. The images were analyzed using an optimized freeware (BlobFinder) download from The Centre for Image Analysis at Uppsala University.

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine produced primarily by monocytes and to a lesser extent by lymphocytes. This cytokine has pleiotropic effects in immunoregulation and inflammation. It down-regulates the expression of Th1 cytokines, MHC class II Ags, and costimulatory molecules on macrophages. It also enhances B cell survival, proliferation, and antibody production. This cytokine can block NF-kappa B activity, and is involved in the regulation of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway.
