TACR1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB7270) (1 ug/mL) staining of HeLa (1) and (0.5 ug/mL) Neuro2a (2) cell lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Detected by chemiluminescence.
Immunofluorescence
TACR1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB7270) Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Neuro2a cells, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton. Primary incubation 1hr (10 ug/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/mL), showing nuclear and plasma membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 ug/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/mL).
This gene belongs to a gene family of tachykinin receptors. These tachykinin receptors are characterized by interactions with G proteins and contain seven hydrophobic transmembrane regions. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin substance P, also referred to as neurokinin 1. The encoded protein is also involved in the mediation of phosphatidylinositol metabolism of substance P. [provided by RefSeq
