Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of 293T cell lysate.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemistry of human breast cancer tissue were incubated with PPM1G monoclonal antibody, clone k1G6 (1:50) for 2 hours at room temperature. Antigen retrieval was performed in 0.1 M sodium citrate buffer and detected using Diaminobenzidine (DAB).Immunocytochemistry
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescence analysis of 293T cells. The cell was stained with PPM1G monoclonal antibody, clone k1G6 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases. PP2C family members are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. This phosphatase is found to be responsible for the dephosphorylation of Pre-mRNA splicing factors, which is important for the formation of functional spliceosome. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggested a role of this phosphatase in regulating cell cycle progression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
