Applications
Western Blot (Recombinant protein)
Western blot using Csf2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB16920) shows detection of a band ~15 KDa in size corresponding to recombinant human Csf2. After transfer, the membrane was blocked overnight with 3% BSA in TBS followed by reaction with primary antibody at a 1 : 1,000 dilution. Detection occurred using DyLight™649 conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG secondary antibody diluted 1 : 20,000 in blocking buffer. Image was captured using VersaDoc™ MP 4000 imaging system (Bio-Rad).Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localized to a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which is known to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q- syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the cluster include those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13. [provided by RefSeq
