Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against native CDH1.
Native purified CDH1 from human placental.
This antibody specifically reacts with human E-Cadherin, but does not react with rat E-Cadherin. This antibody inhibits E-Cadherin dependent cell-cell contact.
ELISA (2 ug/mL) Western Blot (2 ug/mL) Flow Cytometry (1 ug/mL) Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections) (2 ug/mL) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) (2 ug/mL) Immunofluorescence (1 ug/mL) Inhibition Assay (1 ug/mL) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Lyophilized from 10 mM PBS, pH 7.4 (1% BSA)
Store at 4°C on dry atmosphere. After reconstitution with deionized water, store at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
This gene is a classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily. The encoded protein is a calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein comprised of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Mutations in this gene are correlated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid and ovarian cancer. Loss of function is thought to contribute to progression in cancer by increasing proliferation, invasion, and/or metastasis. The ectodomain of this protein mediates bacterial adhesion to mammalian cells and the cytoplasmic domain is required for internalization. Identified transcript variants arise from mutation at consensus splice sites. [provided by RefSeq
