Applications
Western Blot
Western blot analysis of rat brain (A), C6 (B), NIH3T3 (C), Hela (D) whole cell lysates with GNB2 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02410).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical analysis of human cholangiocarcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section using GNB2 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02410). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.37). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.Immunoprecipitation

HyperlinkGene Summary
Heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins), which integrate signals between receptors and effector proteins, are composed of an alpha, a beta, and a gamma subunit. These subunits are encoded by families of related genes. This gene encodes a beta subunit. Beta subunits are important regulators of alpha subunits, as well as of certain signal transduction receptors and effectors. This gene contains a trinucleotide (CCG) repeat length polymorphism in its 5' UTR. [provided by RefSeq
