    Product Description

Goat polyclonal antibody raised against mouse IgG F(c) fragment. This secondary antibody generated in goat detects specifically mouse IgG F(c). It is a proteolytic fragment of immunoglobulin G (IgG) obtained by limited digestion with the enzyme papain under controlled conditions of temperature, time and pH. Receptors bind the Fc portion of mouse IgG and often this fragment is removed from immunoglobulins to minimize receptor binding and lower background reactivity.

    Immunogen

    Mouse IgG F(c) fragment.

    Host

    Goat

    Reactivity

    Mouse

    Specificity

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, mouse IgG, mouse IgG F(c) and mouse serum. No reaction was observed against mouse IgG F(ab).

    Form

    Lyophilized

    Conjugation

    Unconjugated

    Purification

This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated below.
