Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
The HK3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB4001) is used in Western blot to detect HK3 in HL-60 cell lysate.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with HK3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB4001) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining.
This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

Gene Description
hexokinase 3 (white cell)

HyperlinkGene Summary
Hexokinases phosphorylate glucose to produce glucose-6-phosphate, the first step in most glucose metabolism pathways. This gene encodes hexokinase 3. Similar to hexokinases 1 and 2, this allosteric enzyme is inhibited by its product glucose-6-phosphate. [provided by RefSeq
