Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of HRH3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3659) in Jurkat cell line lysate (35 ug/lane). HH3R (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody (1:1000 dilution). This western blot identifies isoform two of HRH3. The accession number of HRH3 is CAC39434 ; Q9Y5N1.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with HRH3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3659) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
Histamine is a ubiquitous messenger molecule released from mast cells, enterochromaffin-like cells, and neurons. Its various actions are mediated by histamine receptors H1, H2, H3 and H4. This gene encodes one of the histamine receptors (H3) which belongs to the family 1 of G protein-coupled receptors. It is an integral membrane protein and can regulate neurotransmitter release. This receptor can also increase voltage-dependent calcium current in smooth muscles and innervates the blood vessels and the heart in cardiovascular system. [provided by RefSeq
