  • Applications
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western blot analysis of MERTK polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3367) in NIH/3T3 cell lysate. MERK (arrow) was detected using purified polyclonal antibody. Secondary HRP-anti-rabbit was used for signal visualization with chemiluminescence.
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
  • Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with MERTK polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB3367) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

  • Gene Information
  • Gene Name:
  • Gene Alias:
  • MER,MGC133349,RP38,c-mer
  • Gene Description:
  • c-mer proto-oncogene tyrosine kinase
  • Gene Summary:
  • This gene is a member of the MER/AXL/TYRO3 receptor kinase family and encodes a transmembrane protein with two fibronectin type-III domains, two Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains, and one tyrosine kinase domain. Mutations in this gene have been associated with disruption of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) phagocytosis pathway and onset of autosomal recessive retinitis pigmentosa (RP).
