Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against partial synthetic peptide of human KITLG.
A synthetic peptide (conjugated with KLH) corresponding to N-terminus of human KITLG.
Theoretical MW (kDa):
Flow Cytometry Western Blot (0.5-1 ug/mL) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Lyophilized from 0.5 mg/mL PBS, pH 7.4 (0.02% sodium azide).
Store at -20°C or lower. Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with deionized water (or equivalent) to an antibody concentration of 0.5 mg/mL. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 4°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or lower. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
This gene encodes the ligand of the tyrosine-kinase receptor encoded by the KIT locus. This ligand is a pleiotropic factor that acts in utero in germ cell and neural cell development, and hematopoiesis, all believed to reflect a role in cell migration. In adults, it functions pleiotropically, while mostly noted for its continued requirement in hematopoiesis. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
