Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western blot analysis of Lane 1: Negative control (vector only transfected HEK293T lysate), Lane 2: Over-expression Lysate (Co-expressed with a C-terminal myc-DDK tag (~3.1 kDa) in mammalian HEK293T cells) with PTS polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB28440) at 1:100-1:250 dilution.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical staining of human kidney with PTS polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB28440) shows cytoplasmic and membranous positivity in cells of renal tubules at 1:50-1:200 dilution.Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescent staining of U373 MG with PTS polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB28440) at 1-4 ug/mL dilution shows positivity in cytoplasm. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The enzyme encoded by this gene catalyzes the elimination of inorganic triphosphate from dihydroneopterin triphosphate, which is the second and irreversible step in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin from GTP. Tetrahydrobiopterin, also known as BH(4), is an essential cofactor and regulator of various enzyme activities, including enzymes involved in serotonin biosynthesis and NO synthase activity. Mutations in this gene result in hyperphenylalaninemia. [provided by RefSeq
