Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western blot analysis of Lane 1: Negative control (vector only transfected HEK293T lysate), Lane 2: Over-expression Lysate (Co-expressed with a C-terminal myc-DDK tag (~3.1 kDa) in mammalian HEK293T cells) with TACSTD2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB28105).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Immunohistochemical staining of human urinary bladder with TACSTD2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB28105) shows moderate membranous positivity in urothelial cells. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
This intronless gene encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations of this gene result in gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness. [provided by RefSeq
