  • Applications
  • Western Blot (Tissue lysate)
  • Western Blot (Tissue lysate)
  • The CAMK2G polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2772) is used in Western blot to detect CAMK2G in mouse heart tissue lysate.
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western blot analysis of CAMK2G polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2772) in K-562 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). CAMK2G (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody.
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
  • Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with CAMK2G polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2772) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. HC = hepatocarcinoma.

  • 818
  • Protein Accession#:
  • NP_751911;O15378
  • Gene Name:
  • CAMK2G
  • Gene Alias:
  • Gene Description:
  • calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II gamma
  • Gene Summary:
  • The product of this gene belongs to the Serine/Threonine protein kinase family, and to the Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. Calcium signaling is crucial for several aspects of plasticity at glutamatergic synapses. In mammalian cells the enzyme is composed of four different chains: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. The product of this gene is a gamma chain. Six alternatively spliced variants that encode six different isoforms have been characterized to date. Additional alternative splice variants that encode different isoforms have been described, but their full-length nature has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq
