Applications
Western Blot (Tissue lysate)
Western blot analysis of GUCY1A3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2683) in mouse brain tissue lysate (35 ug/lane). GUCY1A3 (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with GUCY1A3 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2683) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
Soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), a heterodimeric protein consisting of an alpha subunit, such as alpha-1 (GUCY1A3), and a beta subunit, typically beta-1 (GUCY1B3; MIM 139397), catalyzes conversion of GTP to the second messenger cGMP and functions as the main receptor for nitric oxide and nitrovasodilator drugs (Zabel et al., 1998 [PubMed 9742212]).[supplied by OMIM
