Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of PI4K2A polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2131) in HL-60 cell lysate. PI4K2A (arrow) was detected using purified Polyclonal antibody.
Secondary HRP-anti-rabbit was used for signal visualization with chemiluminescence.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with PI4K2A polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2131) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining.
This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry ; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. HC = hepatocarcinoma.Immunofluorescence
A : Negative control of HeLa cells without Alexa-Fluor-546-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit lgG (H+L). Alexa-Fluor-546 emits orange fluorescence.
B : Immunofluorescence analysis of PI4K2A polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2131) in HeLa cells.
Primary antibody was followed by Alexa-Fluor-546-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit lgG (H+L). -

HyperlinkGene Summary
Phosphatidylinositolpolyphosphates (PtdInsPs) are centrally involved in many biologic processes, ranging from cell growth and organization of the actin cytoskeleton to endo- and exocytosis. PI4KII phosphorylates PtdIns at the D-4 position, an essential step in the biosynthesis of PtdInsPs (Barylko et al., 2001 [PubMed 11244087]).[supplied by OMIM
