Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western blot analysis of JAG2 (arrow) using JAG2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB1978). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the JAG2 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissue reacted with JAG2 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB1978) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The Notch signaling pathway is an intercellular signaling mechanism that is essential for proper embryonic development. Members of the Notch gene family encode transmembrane receptors that are critical for various cell fate decisions. The protein encoded by this gene is one of several ligands that activate Notch and related receptors. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
