Applications
Western Blot (Recombinant protein)
Western blot using IL17F polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB16921) shows detection of a band ~15 kDa in size corresponding to recombinant human IL17F. After transfer, the membrane was blocked overnight with 3% BSA in TBS followed by reaction with primary antibody at a 1 : 1,000 dilution. Detection occurred using DyLight 649 conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG secondary antibody diluted 1 : 20,000 in blocking buffer. Image was captured using VersaDoc MP 4000 imaging system (Bio-Rad).Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine is expressed by activated T cells, and has been shown to stimulate the production of several other cytokines, including IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM_CSF. This cytokine is also found to inhibit the angiogenesis of endothelial cells and induce endothelial cells to produce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1. [provided by RefSeq
