Specifically binds to MDA-modified proteins. The antibody can be used for detection of MDA in plasma, lipoproteins and other MDA modified proteins, immunoassays, immunoblots, enzyme conjugation, or biotinylation.
Form:
Lyophilized
Conjugation:
HRP
Purification:
Affinity purification
Recommend Usage:
ELISA (1:1000-1:4000) Western Blot (1:1000-1:4000) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from 50 mM PBS, 100 mM NaCl, pH 7.4 (10 mg/mL BSA, 0.01% thimerosal).
Storage Instruction:
Store freeze-dried product at 4°C until opened. After reconstitution with 0.5 mL with distilled water, store at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Note:
After opening, restore to 0.5 mL with distilled water. If it is not completely clear after standing for 1-2 hours at room temperature, centrifuge the product. It is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Do not use for more than one day after dilution. For extended storage after reconstitution, we suggest aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing; or the addition of an equal volume of glycerol to make a final glycerol concentration of 50%, followed by storage at -20°C. The concentration of protein and buffer salts will decrease to one-half of the original after the addition of glycerol. This product contains thimerosal: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
