  • Applications
  • Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
  • Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
  • 293T cells were analysed by Western blot using PPARG polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB14095) diluted 1 : 500. Figure shows the result of 293T cells transfected with pNTAP-PPARG (Lane 2) or with an empty vector (Lane 1).
  • ELISA
  • ELISA
  • ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of PPARG polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB14095). The plates were coated with the peptide used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution, the titer of the crude serum was estimated to be 1 : 27,600.

  • Gene Name:
  • PPARG
  • Gene Alias:
  • CIMT1,NR1C3,PPARG1,PPARG2,PPARgamma
  • Gene Description:
  • peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma
  • Gene Summary:
  • This gene encodes a member of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) subfamily of nuclear receptors. PPARs form heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs) and these heterodimers regulate transcription of various genes. Three subtypes of PPARs are known: PPAR-alpha, PPAR-delta, and PPAR-gamma. The protein encoded by this gene is PPAR-gamma and is a regulator of adipocyte differentiation. Additionally, PPAR-gamma has been implicated in the pathology of numerous diseases including obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been described. [provided by RefSeq
