  • Nuclear extracts of HeLa cells (40 ug) were analysed by Western blot using TASP1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB14081) diluted 1 : 500 in TBS-Tween containing 5% skimmed milk.
  • ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of TASP1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB14081). The plates were coated with a mix of the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution, the titer of the crude serum was estimated to be 1 : 43,500.

  • This gene encodes an endopeptidase that cleaves specific substrates following aspartate residues. The encoded protein undergoes posttranslational autoproteolytic processing to generate alpha and beta subunits, which reassemble into the active alpha2-beta2 heterotetramer. It is required to cleave MLL, a protein required for the maintenance of HOX gene expression, and TFIIA, a basal transcription factor.
