Applications
Western Blot (Tissue lysate)
Western blot analysis of TRIM5 gamma expression in human bladder (A) and colon (B) tissue lysate with TRIM5 gamma polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB12910) at 2 ug /mL .
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies. Its function has not been identified. Five alternatively spliced transcript variants for this gene have been described. However, the full length nature of two of the variants has not been determined.
