  • Applications
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • The cell lysate derived from UV treated NIH/3T3 cells was immunoprobed by JUN (phospho T239) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB12615) at 1 : 500. An immunoreactive band is observed around ~ 48kDa (lane 1). This band is blocked by pre-incubation with immunizing peptide (Lane 2).

  • Gene Information
  • Entrez GeneID:
  • 3725
  • Gene Name:
  • JUN
  • Gene Alias:
  • AP-1,AP1,c-Jun
  • Gene Description:
  • jun oncogene
  • Gene Summary:
  • This gene is the putative transforming gene of avian sarcoma virus 17. It encodes a protein which is highly similar to the viral protein, and which interacts directly with specific target DNA sequences to regulate gene expression. This gene is intronless and is mapped to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involved in both translocations and deletions in human malignancies. [provided by RefSeq
