Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western blot using ROCK2 (phospho Y256) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB11303) shows detection of phosphorylated ROCK2 in transfected 293T cells.
Lane 1 shows lysate expressing exogenous ROCK2 where the insert contains the transversion Y256A.
Lane 2 shows the lysate expressing WT ROCK2.
The primary antibody was used at a 1 : 1000 dilution.

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates cytokinesis, smooth muscle contraction, the formation of actin stress fibers and focal adhesions, and the activation of the c-fos serum response element. This protein, which is an isozyme of ROCK1 is a target for the small GTPase Rho. [provided by RefSeq
