Human TNFRSF8 (NP_001234.2, 19 a.a. - 379 a.a.) partial recombinant protein with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus expressed in HEK293 cells
Host:
Human
Form:
Lyophilized
Preparation Method:
Mammalian cell (HEK293) expression system
Purification:
Ni-sepharose purification
Purity:
> 97% (determined by SDS-PAGE)
Endotoxin Level:
< 0.1 EU/ug of protein (determined by LAL method)
Activity:
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human TNFRSF8 at 2 ug/mL (100 uL/well) can bind recombinant human TNFSF8 with a linear range of 1.22-15.23 ng/mL.
Quality Control Testing:
SDS-PAGE Stained with Coomassie Blue
Recommend Usage:
SDS-PAGE The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from a 0.22 um filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Instruction:
Store at -80°C on dry atmosphere, lyophilized antibodies are stable at least 2 years. After reconstitution with deionized water, store at -20°C or lower. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is expressed by activated, but not by resting, T and B cells. TRAF2 and TRAF5 can interact with this receptor, and mediate the signal transduction that leads to the activation of NF-kappaB. This receptor is a positive regulator of apoptosis, and also has been shown to limit the proliferative potential of autoreactive CD8 effector T cells and protect the body against autoimmunity. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq
