Lyophlized
Preparation Method:
Mammalian cell (HEK293) expression system
Purification:
Ni-sepharose purification
Purity:
> 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Level:
< 0.1 EU/ug of the protein by LAL method.
Activity:
Immobilized PDCD1 (Human) Recombinant Protein (Cat # P6733) at 0.5 ug/mL (100 uL/well), dose response curve for Anti-PD1 Ab (BMS) with the ECsub>50 of 57 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
Quality Control Testing:
SDS-PAGE Stained with Coomassie Blue
This protein was determined by SDS-PAGE with Coomassie Blue, showing a band at 35-55 kDa.
Recommend Usage:
SDS-PAGE The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Instruction:
Store the lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80°C for long term. After reconstitution with a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water, the protein solution is stable at -20°C for 3 months, at 2-8°C for up to 1 week. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Result of bioactivity analysis

This gene encodes a cell surface membrane protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is expressed in pro-B-cells and is thought to play a role in their differentiation. In mice, expression of this gene is induced in the thymus when anti-CD3 antibodies are injected and large numbers of thymocytes undergo apoptosis. Mice deficient for this gene bred on a BALB/c background developed dilated cardiomyopathy and died from congestive heart failure. These studies suggest that this gene product may also be important in T cell function and contribute to the prevention of autoimmune diseases. [provided by RefSeq
