Human NTRK3 (NP_002521.2, 456 a.a. - 825 a.a.) partial recombinant protein with GST tag expressed in Baculovirus infected Sf21 cells.
Theoretical MW (kDa):
Baculovirus infected insect cell (Sf21) expression system
Glutathione sepharose chromatography
95 % by SDS-PAGE/CBB staining
The activity was measured by off-chip mobility shift assay. The enzyme was incubated with fluorescence-labeled substrate and Mg(or Mn)/ATP. The phosphorylated and unphosphorylated substrates were separated and detected by LabChip3000. Substrate : Srctide. ATP: 100 µM.
Quality Control Testing:
SDS-PAGE Stained with Coomassie Blue
In 50 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5 (0.05% Brij35, 1 mM DTT, 10% glycerol)
Store at -80°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
This gene encodes a member of the neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase (NTRK) family. This kinase is a membrane-bound receptor that, upon neurotrophin binding, phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway. Signalling through this kinase leads to cell differentiation and may play a role in the development of proprioceptive neurons that sense body position. Mutations in this gene have been associated with medulloblastomas, secretory breast carcinomas and other cancers. [provided by RefSeq
