  • Storage Instruction:
  • Store at 4°C. This product is stable for at least 3 months.
    After reconstitution with distilled water, aliquot and store at -20°C.
    Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
    Reconstitution: To reconstitute to filaments, after vimentin is dissolved obtain the protofilaments and filament complexes by dialyzing the resulting polypeptide solution stepwise to a concentration of 4M urea and than to low salt condition (50mM NaCl, 2mM dithiothreitol, 10mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.4).
  • Background Information:
  • This is a highly purified preparation for use as a high molecular weight marker (57 kDa), as a reference standard, or as an antigen for immunogen preparation or various research purposes. For immunization use, further dialyze the solution against PBS (Dulbecco's PBS).
