Preparation Method
Native protein chromatographically purified from Porcine Spleen by a modification of the procedure of Bernardi et al., Biochim. Biophys. Acta, 129, 1 (1966)
Activity
>=12,000 units per mg protein. One Unit causes an increase in absorbance at 260 nm of 0.001 per minute at 25°C, pH 4.6 using highly polymerized DNA as substrate.
