  • Specification
  • Product Description:
  • Human IL32 (AAS80146) recombinant protein expressed in Escherichia coli.
  • Sequence:
  • MCFPKVLSDDMKKLKARMHQAIERFYDKMQNAESGRGQVMSSLAELEDDFKEGYLETVAAYYEEQHPELTPLLEKERDGLRCRGNRSPVPDVEDPATEEPGESFCDKSYGAPRGDKEELTPQKCSEPQSSK
  • Host:
  • Escherichia coli
  • Theoretical MW (kDa):
  • 14.9
  • Form:
  • Lyophilized
  • Preparation Method:
  • Escherichia coli expression system
  • Endotoxin Level:
  • < 0.1 EU/ug
  • Activity:
  • The activity is determined by the dose-dependent induction of TNF alpha production from human PBMCs. The expected ED50 for this effect is 101-152 ng/mL.
  • Quality Control Testing:
  • 1 ug/lane in 4-20% Tris-Glycine gel Stained with Coomassie Blue

    QC Testing of P4565
    Lane 1: non-reducing conditions
    Lane 2: reducing conditions
  • Storage Buffer:
  • Lyophilized with 50 mM Na2PO4, pH 7.5.
  • Storage Instruction:
  • Store at -20°C on dry atmosphere.
After reconstitution with sterilized water, store at -20°C.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
  • Note:
  • Result of activity analysis
  • Human PBMCs were cultured with 0 to 1000 ng/mL human IL32 in serum free media. Human TNF alpha production was measured and the linear portion of the curve was us used to calculate the ED50.

  • Gene Description:
  • interleukin 32
  • Gene Summary:
  • This gene encodes a member of the cytokine family. The protein contains a tyrosine sulfation site, 3 potential N-myristoylation sites, multiple putative phosphorylation sites, and an RGD cell-attachment sequence. Expression of this protein is increased after the activation of T-cells by mitogens or the activation of NK cells by IL-2. This protein induces the production of TNFalpha from macrophage cells. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. [provided by RefSeq
