Product Description
Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against native ICAM1.
Immunogen
Raji cells and spleen cells fused with NS1 cells.
Host
Mouse

Reactivity
Human
Specificity
This antibody reacts with CD54 (ICAM-1), a 85-110 KDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein (receptor for rhinovirus) expressed on activated endothelial cells, Tlymphocytes, B lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes and dendritic cells; the expression of CD54 is upregulated by activation.

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein which is typically expressed on endothelial cells and cells of the immune system. It binds to integrins of type CD11a / CD18, or CD11b / CD18 and is also exploited by Rhinovirus as a receptor. [provided by RefSeq
