ELISA binding of Anti-Tocilizumab monoclonal antibody, clone 6C10 (Cat # MAB23096) with Tocilizumab. While the antibody does not recognize the human IgG (data not shown).Coating antigen: Tocilizumab, 1 ug/mL. Anti-Tocilizumab monoclonal antibody, clone 6C10 (Cat # MAB23096) dilutions start from 1000 ng/mL. EC50 = 1.837 ng/mL.
Sandwich ELISA
Standard curve of Tocilizumab Sandwich ELISA. The Tocilizumab Sandwich ELISA assay is developed by using Anti-Tocilizumab monoclonal antibody, clone 14B10 (Cat # MAB23095) and Anti-Tocilizumab monoclonal antibody, clone 6C10 (Cat # MAB23096) as the capture and detection antibodies, respectively. In this ELISA assay, Anti-Tocilizumab monoclonal antibody, clone 6C10 (Cat # MAB23096) was labeled with Biotin. The sensitivity is less than 100 pg/mL.
Interleukin 6 (IL6) is a potent pleiotropic cytokine that regulates cell growth and differentiation and plays an important role in immune response. The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the receptor complex for IL6. The IL6 receptor is a protein complex consisting of this protein and interleukin 6 signal transducer (IL6ST/GP130/IL6-beta), a receptor subunit also shared by many other cytokines. Dysregulated production of IL6 and this receptor are implicated in the pathogenesis of many diseases, such as multiple myeloma, autoimmune diseases and prostate cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq
