  • Recommend Usage:
  • Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) (1:200 for 30 minutes at 25°C. Heat induced epitope retrieval using Epitope Retrieval Solution pH 9.0)
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
When utilised in immunohistochemistry, the use of H2O2 to block endogenous peroxidase has been shown to have a detrimental effect on the epitope recognized by this antibody. It is, therefore, CRITICAL that blocking with H2O2 should be carried out after application of the primary antibody with solutions of no greater than 3%. If these recommendations are not followed, staining intensity will be reduced. This antibody is not recommended for use with PBS, since the use of PBS based wash buffers and possibly PBS based antibody diluents gives increased background staining and decreased staining intensity.
  • Storage Buffer:
  • In tissue culture supernatant (15 mM sodium azide).
  • Storage Instruction:
  • Store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Return to 2-8°C immediately after use. Do not use after expiration date indicated on the vial label.
  • Note:
  • This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.

  • Gene Information
  • Gene Name:
  • AMACR
  • Gene Alias:
  • RACE
  • Gene Description:
  • alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase
  • Gene Summary:
  • Alpha-methylacyl-CoA racemase is responsible for the conversion of pristanoyl-CoA and C27-bile acyl-CoAs to their (S)-stereoisomers, which are the only stereoisomers that can be degraded via peroxisomal beta-oxidation.[supplied by OMIM
