Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of 293T cell extracts (35 ug) with NRAS monoclonal antibody, clone AT2G9 (Cat # MAB10009) at 1:500 (Lane 1), 1:1000 (Lane 2) and 1:5000 (Lane 3) dilution. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.Western Blot (Recombinant protein)
Western blot analysis with recombinant protein (200 ng) of NRAS (Lane 1), KRAS (Lane 2) and HRAS (Lane 3). Using NRAS monoclonal antibody, clone AT2G9 (Cat # MAB10009).Enzyme-linked Immunoabsorbent Assay

Gene Description
neuroblastoma RAS viral (v-ras) oncogene homolog
Gene Ontology
HyperlinkGene Summary
This is an N-ras oncogene encoding a membrane protein that shuttles between the Golgi apparatus and the plasma membrane. This shuttling is regulated through palmitoylation and depalmitoylation by the ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex. The encoded protein, which has intrinsic GTPase activity, is activated to a GTP-bound form by a GTPase activating protein and inactivated to a GDP-bound form by a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor. Defects in this gene are a cause of juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). [provided by RefSeq
