Applications
Immunoprecipitation
Detection of RANK in RAW cells. Lane 1. Western blot detection of RANK in RAW, a mouse cell line. Lane 2 & 3. IP/Western blot analysis of RANK. RANK protein from RAW cell lysate was immunoprecipitated either with control antibody (lane 2) or TNFRSF11A monoclonal antibody, clone 64C1385.1 (Cat # MAB0091) (lane 3) , the immunopricipitated proteins were resolved on SDS-PAGE. RANK was detected by western blot using TNFRSF11A monoclonal antibody, clone 64C1385.1 (Cat # MAB0091) .Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometry analysis of TNFRSF11A using TNFRSF11A monoclonal antibody, clone 64C1385.1 (Cat # MAB0091) at 5 ug/106 RAW cells. -

Gene Ontology
HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptors can interact with various TRAF family proteins, through which this receptor induces the activation of NF-kappa B and MAPK8/JNK. This receptor and its ligand are important regulators of the interaction between T cells and dendritic cells. This receptor is also an essential mediator for osteoclast and lymph node development. Studies of the mouse counterpart suggest that this receptor directly mediates the osteoprotegerin ligand (OPGL)-induced osteoclastogenesis in osteoclast precursor cells. [provided by RefSeq
